Recreated to exacting standards. Tooled to perfection using the finest steel and colour matched to original palettes. We have even recreated the original Coolicon shade, even its brand stamp in every detail. The original Coolicon shade was designed in London and released in 1933 just like the original London Underground map, designed by Harry Beck. The Coolicon story shares a rich heritage with London Underground and even shares the iconic font with the London Underground. 1933 proved to be an icon generating year in the British capital, Frank Pick initiated a coherent design approach to the capitals transport system.
