1. Liability

We do our best to ensure the accuracy of any photographs, diagrams, descriptions, illustrations, advertising and other content. They exist only to give you an approximation of whichever product they are describing, and we will not be liable for any use of this content made by you. We agree that any goods purchased from us are fit for whatever purposes are described on that product page and are of satisfactory quality. This does not cover any fault that may develop in the product from wear and tear, accidents, negligence, willful damage, using the product in a way other than recommended by us, failure on your part to follow any instructions or any repairs or modifications you carry out without our written permission. Our liability for any losses you may suffer from us breaching this agreement is strictly limited to the purchase price of any goods you have ordered. We will not be held responsible for the content of external sites.

2. Prices

All prices are including VAT. Due to the large quantity of products available on our website, we cannot guarantee that all of our prices are correct. We are under no obligation to dispatch your items to you if they have been ordered at an incorrect price, even after we have sent you a confirmation of your order, if it is an obvious error and could have been recognised by you as an error.

Quotations do not constitute an offer and shall not bind the company until an order has been placed and accepted.

4. Payment

All our payments are processed securely through SecureTrading or PayPal.

5. Delivery

All delivery times are approximate and we shall not be held accountable for any loss or damage resulting from a delayed delivery. Due to the amount of goods that we ship it is not feasible for us to track every package. It is the responsibility of you as the customer to inform our customer service department if there is a problem with your delivery.

6. Import Duty

Orders placed for delivery outside of the United Kingdom may be subject to various import/export duties and taxes that are applied when your goods arrive at the destination country. You are responsible for the payment of these charges as we have no way of knowing the costs before sending your goods out to you. To find out more information contact your local customs office before placing your order.

7. Returns

Upon receipt of your goods you have 7 days in which to return the items to us. All items must be returned unused, in a saleable condition, in their original packaging and with all component parts and any promotional items received. You should also include your invoice. We will offer you either a full refund excluding the original delivery costs or arrange to exchange the item. Faulty goods should be returned in a reasonable condition, with all component parts along with any promotional items received. You should also include your invoice. We will either issue you with a full refund including the original delivery costs or arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you. Any refunds will be processed as soon as the goods are received by us. By returning items to us you accept that you are sending them at your own cost and risk. We recommend that when sending goods back to us you use a recorded delivery service and obtain proof of postage. We will not be held accountable for any damage or loss whilst in transit.

8. Claims

Notice of any claim arising out of or in connection with this contract must be given in writing to the seller within 7 working days from the date when the goods are collected or delivered, failing which all claims shall be deemed to be waived and absolutely barred. In any event, the seller shall be under no liability for shortage or damage unless within 7 days of delivery the buyer gives written notice of claim otherwise than on a consignment note or delivery document to the carrier and to the seller.

9. Title

The proprietary title in the goods shall not pass to the buyer and the buyer shall keep the goods as bailees and trustees for the company, (returning the same to the company upon request), until the price of the goods shall have been wholly paid and until any other sums whatsoever which are due from the buyer to the company under any contract or otherwise howsoever shall have been paid in full without any deductions or deferment on account of any disputes or cross claims whatsoever. The buyer shall be entitled to sell and effect delivery of the goods to third parties in the normal course of his business but the proceeds of any such shall, whenever any sum whatsoever is due from the buyer to the company, be held on trust for the company and on such sale and/or delivery the buyer is hereby deemed to assign to the company absolutely, (and the company hereby accepts such assignment), for the benefit of any claim which the buyer has against any such third party arising from such sale and/or delivery. Any receiver or liquidator appointed over the assets of the buyer shall pay into a separate bank account. Any sums received from third parties in respect of sales to them of goods the buyer, up to the amount of any indebtedness of the buyer to the company, for the sole benefit of the company.

10. Waiver

No variation or waiver of, or addition to these conditions shall be binding unless expressly confirmed by the seller in writing.

11. Force Majeure

We will not be held responsible for any failures or delays in normal service of any of our obligations that are due to events outside of our reasonable control. This may include but is not limited to strikes, lock-outs, industrial action, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of a terrorist attack, war (declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport, impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks, the acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government. Our performance under any contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the force majeure event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the force majeure event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the contract may be performed despite the force majeure event.

12. Governing Law

All use of our website is governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes or claims shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are accessing our website from outside of the United Kingdom you are responsible for abiding by any relevant local laws.

13. Free Bulbs

We supply free bulbs with all orders. Please note these bulbs at times might not be the bulb you see on the product page. We will supply you with basic bulbs that will work with the fitting you have purchased. If you require a specific bulb then please get in contact with us.
