My room has low ceilings is this light going to be suitable?

This light is specifically designed to be low profile for use where ceiling space is limited. This ceiling light protrudes hangs 22cm from the ceiling. As a rule we recommend looking at your doorway and making sure the light hangs no more than 5cm above the doorway, but each room is different and it’s best
